We had a great visit with the doctor today. She said the baby is progressing well.

I learned in one of my books that starting this week Jason should be able to hear the baby's heartbeat if he puts his head on my stomach. He hasn't heard it yet.

18 weeks

We went in for our 18 week checkup. They took so many pictures. I have posted only the best ones here. Look at the profile. Looks like a baby!

There's a baby in there...

We are thrilled. There was a strong heartbeat today. It was really fast. The ultrasound tech says that usually girls have faster heartbeats. Our little baby is an overachiever already!

It's a boy -- for sure!

16 weeks

Kathryn took this picture. I declined to pose in one with her. Standing next to her makes my stomach look huge!

14 weeks

Look at Lea's belly now! The baby is the size of your fist and is moving around but Lea cannot feel it yet. Stay tuned!

13 weeks

It's a boy!

We got our ultra screen test results back today and everything looks great. The baby is very healthy.

Also, we found out that we are having a boy!!

We are so excited.

12 weeks

Ultrasound photo taken 09/23/08. The baby is 12 weeks.

You can clearly see a baby's profile. We were so surprised. If you look closely in the left-hand corner, you can see a leg a foot.

Also, we heard the baby's heartbeat. It is strong and clear.

8 weeks
